Peek a Boo
Here I am!!!
OK, seriously, I know it’s been awhile. I’ve been busy though – want to hear with what? Tough. It’s my blog so I’m going to tell you anyway. Alright, here goes ( I think bullets will be best for this, otherwise it will be like reading the dictionary.
- Trip to Silver City. Lost a suitcase on the way home, a vast majority of Lady Bug’s clothes and her friends Candi’s clothes (including Lady Bugs new Cons…ugh) are now GONE
- Blues Festival was awesome. I have pictures.
- Ducky got a new car, which promptly broke – the air conditioner died as we were leaving the house we bought it at. :rolls eyes:, got that fixed for free, registered the car, had emissions etc, tune up the works.
- Job fair, waste of time, but a couple hours standing in line never hurts right?
- Constant parade of teenage girls through my house, driving them to the movies, the mall and various other house for summer fun.
- Hubby’s red BMW broke down, back to two cars
- Read two books, both awesome: The Book Thief and The Host (LOVED The Host!!!! SO good!)
- Submitted what 7 applications / resumes/ with cover letters.
- Played too many hours of Build a lot 2 and beat the game, now trying to get gold stars on all levels.
- More fun and games with APS – but finally, FINALLY got them to actually check my file (instead of the computer file) and lo and behold, there’s the other reference I needed. I think I have 3 hairs left. Maybe next week I’ll call them again and we can just make me completely bald
- Hubby built the box to hold the kitty boxes and it looks sooooo much better – hooray.
- Went to see Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull – Excellent
- Took the girls shopping for new clothes – boy did they need them!
- Spent a day updating my portfolio because…
- I HAVE AN INTERVIEW!! Finally!
Wish me luck! I’m praying and hoping that something will come of this, but we’ll just have to see!
Alright it’s late and I have to get a good night’s sleep, so I’m not going to visit tonight, but I’ll let you know how the interview went and stop by to visit everyone tomorrow. Good night all ~ talk to you soon!

Good luck with the interview. I am sure you will rock it. Ladybug? Did you get a new family member? LOL. Sounds like you have been busy. Sounds like me. I am ready for a nice vacation to Vegas. Yeah baby. Have a great week.

I saw Indiana Jones too and really enjoyed it. I don’t know why people have been so hard on it. It was fun and entertaining, and satisfying on pulling things together…what more do they want????
@widowat40 - Lady Bug is Squirt’s new nickname. See Ducky called her “bug” FOREVER. This annoyed her to no end. The other day though Ducky said that she thought Bug had grown up and she would now have to be called “Lady Bug” – that squirt liked, so voila! New nickname.
