Ho-Hum
Not much going on around here. I seem to have fallen into some sort of fall "I don't feel like do anything" conundrum. Can't pinpoint why. I think I'm just bored. Next week when Duckman leaves I think I will go out and try to get a job, even if it's not teaching. I'm tired of playing by myself all day. On second thought, I just thought of a bunch of stuff I could do around here to keep busy. Now that I have apparently diagnosed my problem, I feel much better already.
Tonight we celebrate Duckman's BD. Tomorrow we leave for Silver. I was trying to figure out a way to attend Liz's funeral, but the kids want to come back on Sunday evening and the funeral is Monday morning. We could take two cars, but that seems wasteful and I hesitate to let Ducky drive her, Duckman and Squirt home alone. Although Hubby says he has no problem with it, I'm just a nervous nellie I guess.
We are going back to the family fun center tonight, we'll play a round of laser tag and enjoy some arcade games. Then come home for dinner - Ducky and Duckman are making a risotto dish and following it up with a dump cake for his BD.
Seriously, very little is going on in my life. Boring, but in a good way. It's a good thing my shows are back on, I was going crazy. Although it's sad that DiNozzio lost his love (NCIS) and I can't believe Gideon is leaving Criminal Minds - don't know I'll continue without him -- I've loved Mandy Patinkin since his days as a swordsman in the Princess Bride.
I'm kind of liking Survivors return to the original flavor of the show, although is anyone else ready to smack Jean-Robert? He thinks he's SOOOO smart -- outwitting them all with his stealth. I think he's about to get his butt thrown off for being a lazy a**....but hey that's just me.
Also can't wait to see how Grissom and Sara are doing now that their relationship is "out"! We also started watching Heroes - which we are liking, and Journeyman and Chuck - which is downright hysterical.
I had some funnies to post, but I can't find them now and don't feel like looking. Maybe I'll find them later. Maybe.
*edit*
I was reading this over again and saw all the mistakes, I wrote it kind of in a hurry - pathetic! LOL - Oh well. Lazer tag was a blast!! So much fun - we are definitely going to have to make that a regular adventure!
Survivor - they voted off Leslie??? What the heck is wrong with them, they had an opportunity to get rid of Jean-Robert and they blew it! Argh.

Lazy bum.
[I GOT FIRST COMMENT!]
how'z that for awesome?
:dancingcow:
I love Heroes! If you haven't seen it before, you should try to get caught up on the backstories.
Have you seen "Pushing Daisies"? Quirky! I wonder if they can keep it up?
Is Gideon really leaving? Mandy always leaves when the show is successful, remember Chicago Hope?
Thanks for your advice on Eric. I appreciate it, especially since you're a teacher. I never really thought of it that way. In my gut, I know he's in the right place. He's learning and very much loved by the staff and the kids. Plus I think this environment will help him socially. He's accepted for who he is. That and a really good education is all I can ask for.
I have been bored lately too but just plain tired as well.
I have a lot to talk about but am to tired to post it.
As much of a conundrum as it sounds I am very
busy with everyday stuff but yet slow as turtle.
I am still a worry wart when I think about my oldest driving.
I have to hide my hands underneath me and go he is over 21.
It doesnt give me the warm fuzzies yet but I try.
Yeah your right that young man in the post is definitely in danger with the lipton canned tea........
Have a good one and keep up with the boring life. I love it.
Heroes rules, I caught it when they were having a marathon and J.B. and I caught the last half. I almost missed CSI because of my bowling league :whew: I'll just have to watch the first half tomorrow on "On Demand".
RYC: Thanks...that is one of the most hilarious moments of my life... :ROTFL: I knew right then and there I was a dork.
I can't believe I missed NCIS. My schedule is so screwed up with hubby taking a class on Tues/Thurs evenings. We don't get home and I am bummed. It is one of my favorite shows on right now and I don't have many.
Hope things pick up for you, but not TOO exciting.
Oh yeah, I noticed Alice Cooper and TSO will be in this area too in the next couple of months
Your first paragraph made me laugh and I needed a good laugh. I’m tired too! What’s up with that? I’m just beat, even on days I don’t do much. Are we getting old? That would suck!
I think I might feel a little better if we had some real "fall" like weather, I'm sick of hot, I need some cool. Oh well that's not likely to happen anytime too soon so I guess for now I'll settle for some :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy:
Have a good night :big-smile:
i really think your statement is so true. it's very scarey. mostly because if you look at the issues and what everything is "about" right now it could very well turn into something similar. i'm not talking about jews though. i'm talking about the issue of illegal immigration. there are some really pissed off people out there. and as everyone knows it only takes a few people to ruin it for everyone. i'm not sure if it was my reading about the taliban being only 10 percent of population or if it was saddam hussain's people that was only 10 percent but they ruled 90 percent of the people. so think of something along the same lines just coming up all at once. i think hitler assasinated everyone that got in his way. now they do it "nicely" they talk them to death and put a pretty spin on it. but it's all control and leading peoples lives in other directions. all they have to do now is put birdflu somewhere and everyone's fucked. sorry for my language! i guess i have been thinking on it a little too much. everyone's an enemy now! lol
sorry your bored. i've been bored most of the week. my vacation didn't go the way i wanted. i thought my mom and i were going to go somewhere for 1 or 2 days and she baled on me. my dad has been telling me everything i "should" do all week. and i haven't done anything for me. that is good anyway...
I am also in a state of boredom. I can't even think of anything to blog about. :so-sad:
Have a great weekend and enjoy the b'day celebration! Don't worry.... all too soon it'll be the holidays and we'll all be busier than we want to be!
I don't watch Survivor, but I love Criminal Minds and yeah, Gideon being gone will change that show. Why did he leave? He was the heart of that show. And the way they had him leave.........not really sure I liked that either.
 thanks for the reminder...I have to watch my TiVo'd CSI !!! :flirty:
I LOVE DUMP CAKE! Most people to whom I mention it don't know what the heck I'm talking about. I also love Mandy Patinkin. Can't remember the name of the show he was on as a doc who paced around his office without pants, but I liked it. It was so much fun for me when I pointed out that Indigo Montoya and Gideon were one in the same, many moons apart.
I don't watch those, but I watch way too many anyway. RYC: ha ha your funny!
If you run out of things to do, you can always come visit me and clean up around here! I never seem to have the time. No? Not interested? Me neither! :ROTFL:
hey ya can help me clean if ya that bored:ROTFL: well its a thought right? I feel the same way lately must be in the air.SOunds like you guys are having a great time together. Have a great weekend
Hey, I just saw the balloon festival on Fox News! Looks spectacular!
Hey where ya been??
They voted off Leslie because they don't know how to deal with a strong Christian, they were afrain of her and her ability to make friends with just about anyone....I find it interesting how many people are afraid of people who have strong relationships with the Lord....don't you?
As for being bored....enjoy it while you can Missy!....LOL
