OK — so I fell off the face of the Earth for a little while — oops. My life has been fairly boring, not much to write about. I’ve been swamped and don’t expect it to change much in the next month, matter-of-fact I predict it will get even crazier!!!! Since my last entry I had jury duty (ooohhh…. that SUCKED! — I got a parking ticket, the baliff was an a## and I wasted a whole day sitting in a hard pew like bench -ugh), took the dog and both cats to the vet, had 5 house showings (another today) shopped for camcorders and confirmation gifts, and had a going away for a friend (oh yeah, helped her with her pack out too). I’ve got another house showing in a little while, so I’m going to post some of the pics I promised – I have more but have to get my camera back – I left it at my friends condo– at any rate, here’s some pics from our drive around the back side of Hana. oh yeah, pink and blue hair ba-by!
Someone had created this heart of stones, of course Ducky and Duckman felt they had to have a picture in it!
Gorgeous shoreline made of lava rock. When the waves went out, you could hear all those huge stones rolling back into the ocean, only to be pushed back up with the next wave.
I love arches like this, made by the power of the ocean! This a rushed burnt car we found down in the ravine, we also found this skull — and no – I didn’t touch it, this is exactly how we found it!
OK – I’m off to read and catch up. I hope to get to some of the writing assignments, but let’s face it, I’ll be lucky to blog again in the next week! Don’t give up on me though!

For some reason I haven’t been called for jury duty in over 20 years. I got a notice once and they wanted me there the week I was due with my Son. I sent a note from my doctor and they’ve never called me since. Great pictures. I’d love to go to Hawaii someday.

i love the pink and blue hair! that is so fun looking. i wonder about the skull now. where it came from who left it there what kind of animal it was. and i wonder how many other people found it and left it exactly the way you left it without moving or touching it.
ryc: coco had whip worm, fungus, mites, mainge, and something they missed but will get to next trip to the vet in a few days is a soar on his neck. he was a stray come up to the house and almost died from not eating because of the whip worm. we took him to the vet and they nursed him back to health so now i get to keep him. he had at least 2 more vet visits this month before he is over everything. one to fallow up on the mainge and the whip worm and one a little later for all his puppy shots which he hasn’t had yet. he’s somewhere between 4 and 6 months old.

my daughter just tried brown….she’s only 11 so i figured that wasn’t too bad. icouldn’t imagine if she asked me for pink!

Jury duty – I’ve only done that once. Well, actually, I just sat for a day or two and never got called. I had to turn over the paltry money they paid to the place I was working at the time, so that they would “excuse” the absence, and mark the time as paid time off! So parking, lunch, and any other expenses were just my contribution to society, I guess!
I can almost hear those waves!

I seem to get called for Jury duty every year. Usually it’s a huge waste of time.

As I lookd at your dd with her bf in the heart of stones, I had to smile…ahhh, to be young. That is adorable!
A skull? What kind-animal, human? I don’t think I’de touch it either. If you found the car as in the picture, do you know the story behind it? That’s kind of scary just imagining it.
