Brain Fried
I’ve been working on my Comprehensive all week. I’m almost done which is good since I have to be done by this evening as we leave to spend the week end on Kuaui tomorrow morning. Then I’ll have next week to complete all my final projects and then next week end we are going back to Lanai. — Whew! Anyone else already exhausted? The nice thing is I should have some great pics to post! We finally got the underwater housing for Ducky’s (previously Silver_Fangz, but now she goes by Ducky all the time) digital camera so maybe I’ll even have some underwater shots of the dolphins!
Speaking of photography, I’ve been having fun playing with boost lately. I don’t do the weblogs, just the photos, but it is quite entertaining. The only problem is there is soooo much inappropriate pictures — what is wrong with these people –geez. Go find a porn site and post your trash there! :rolls eyes:
OK — Now it’s rant time. You ready?
What the heck is up with Survivor? I almost couldn’t finish watching it last night I was so disgusted. What’s the point of even having a show? We know that Ravu is going to lose everything, they are malnourished, dehydrated, underweight, and getting minimum amounts of sleep while Moto eats all day, sleeps in comfort, is clean, and gaining weight for Crimeny sakes. And the reward challenge is one based on Mass and Strength. That’s like watching Tee ball kids get slaughtered by the NY Yankees. It’s just not fun. I realize it echoes real life with the haves and the have nots, but let me clue CBS into something — I watch news for crap, I watch your show for entertainment. <Sigh> Since they have another BIG twist planned I’ll give it one more week, then I’m afraid I’m done — finite.
I do like Yau-man and I’m partial to Rocky although he’s quickly heading off the deep-end and his temper tantrums and constant need to blame others is pretty sure to get him evicted as soon as the tribes merge and they no longer need what little strength he has. I can’t say I like ANY of the Moto tribe with the exception of maybe Dreamz and Cassandra — they are all just really hard to like right now. Oh wait, strike that, my estimation of Edgardo and Alex went up after last night, especially Edgardo — who has the added benefit of being HOT! Mookie on Ravu is OK –Anthony is driving me up the wall with his passive aggressive attitudes but hey, that’s just me. I can’t stand Lisi from Moto (haven’t liked her from like the 2nd show, she cemented that last night) and Stacy joined her on my list of Beotches — what stuck up – rude, arrogant and demeaning snobs they are! I hope they go quickly. I think Edgardo will abandon them quickly once the tribes get mixed up. I hope! Those two would eat their own young if it meant they could stay on vacation and do nothing in Fiji for another 5 weeks. Definitely not the ones I want to see even on the jury!
I hope to goodness sake that CBS recognized the unpleasant turns the show took and made the effort to switch it up, or else I probably won’t finish this season — I just can’t waste my time watching TV that upsets me rather than entertains me!
OK:
Rant over.
Alright — I’m out of random things to rant about so I’m off to finish my exams. Last night in my dreams I was researching for my exams. It was very sad and indicative of my complete and totally fried brain right now! I think a week end on Kuaui will help don’t you?
Question of the Day:
Favorite and Least favorite Survivor (if you are a reality addict like me and watch).

I have never watched Survivor. Sorry! I have read Twilight and New Moon though. *wink* Am I forgiven?
We quit watching Survivor about 3 seasons ago. Just seemed like the same ole same ole. Bitchy people and such. We still watch Amazing Race although this new All Star show is kind of dumb. Hubby isn’t even watching. American Idol just drives me nuts and so I have been watching America’s Next Top Model. There is one girl on there that drives me crazy. I hope she loses soon. Have a great weekend
I was a huge Survivor fan until it just seemed to end for me last season. I am watching this season of the Amazing Race because I really like Rob & Amber. I’m hooked on 24 and Grey’s Anatomy. My favorite Survivor was the All Star one and Panama.
If a weekend on Kuaui can’t help, then – I don’t know what would! What a wonderful opportunity! Sigh.
I have never watched an episode of Survivor. I was afraid I’d get hooked on it, at first, and now I’m kind of glad because I hear everyone complaining about it. I admit to being a big fan of American Idol, though, as my “guilty pleasure”.
Good luck with the exams!
Good Luck with the exams and have fun!
Survivor….no thanks.
i love survivor but i’m really bad with names. rocky was my favorite but he’s had so many upsetting moments on the show. he’s a very angry and competitive man. now i want this other guy to win and i don’t know his name. i’ve forgotten.
Rita bugged me, but now she is gone……….she talked way to much…..LOL:grin:
I don’t watch survivor, i didn’t need another show to get hooked on! LOL!
p.s. i’m adding you to protected.
Surprisingly, we haven’t watched any of this one. Bruce is a huge fan and usually has a fit when he can’t see it for some reason or another. I heard about the Fiji one yesterday, and it was like, “They started it already?” LOL
Doesn’t sound like much fun to me, either. Honestly, though, I swore if Richard Hatch won the first one, I’d never watch again. He won, and yet I came back. (And now he’s in prison, so karma really does work. ROFL!)

I am not 100% in love with the new Xanga frontpage, and I too have played with the Xanga Photo boost. I am disappointed that you can only vote once, and that there is porn out there getting a lot of attention… oh well, things change.
I love Dr. Seuss… I just wish parents understood that once your child reaches a certain age unless they are super duper brilliant Dr. Seuss no longer makes sense… There is definitely an argument that he was brilliant, but we have to read books with more than 100 words or more than 23 pages. Arrgghhh….
Thanks for dropping by.
Hugs, Tricia :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate: :celebrate:
sounds like you’re in for a big transistion… and and the food is great (i’ll tell you my favorite places- which doesn’t include the place president bush eats at when he’s here when you get here!) i’m still fairly new to the area, but there are things i will love about this place forever… not being by the ocean is a big drawback for me. i didn’t know just how much i’d miss it.
I am so glad you brought up the Survivor show…you echoed exactly what I was saying to Mike last Thursday, I also will be watching to see if it is even worth my time. Like no DAH the people who are not eating are weaker and will lose every time, there is no way no how this is remotely fair or even.
And I echo the major dislike for Lisi and Stacy, they suck, they are a disgrace to women everywhere….however, I have not liked Rocky since day one, he just rubs me the worng way…..lets see what happens today.
Hope the exams went well, and that you all enjoyed Kuai, we loved it, and are going to be in Kona this summer, I have been before, but Mike and the kids haven’t, so it will be fun. We went to Molokai a year ago and loved it.
Hope ducky is feeling better.
