Whew .. I got my classes!!! HOORAY! I think.
Anyways. More fun with the charter school. The registrar calls me yesterday and tells me,
“I’m sorry Mrs. Hubby, but I realized yesterday that I didn’t put Squirt into her math class”.
Me — “Excuse me? I spoke to so-so in the beginning of this escapade and he assured me it was normal to have math and english only for half the year because of the accelerated pace — I specifically asked about this!”
Her — “NO it’s not normal and her math teacher brought it to my attention — so I put her in, you’ll have to work out the rest with her teacher”
Me — Oh goodie. (actually I was quite verbal and expressed my frustration and disappointment with this school in detail. You would be proud, I didn’t even swear — much.)
So – now she is 4 weeks behind in MATH! Can we make this year anymore difficult for the poor kid? <Sigh> Luckily, she’s good at math and the first 2-3 weeks was all review. She’ll catch up in no time.
This weekend Hubby and Squirt went golfing and I decided to tag along — drive the uber cool, top of the line, Bond -like golf cart.
Seriously, this thing even had GPS with hole information and digital score card
– only the best ! And of course, take 500 bajillion pictures. (This week I took film in to get developed — 13 rolls, the sad part, I don’t even use my SLR anymore — almost all strictly digital).
We had a great time. I also went to the driving range last week. I think I will go ahead and start learning to golf. Might be fun.. who knows? Chasing a little white ball around miles of grass — the good part is you get drive the golf cart — on the grass!! Very cool.
Ok: so of course, I have pics… here ya go!
Have some balls….
And then these two are just to make you drool. NIce huh?? Look at that view! No THAT is the way to play golf.
Question of the day:
Digital or print?

Beautiful scenery! My sister has become a golf nut, someday I’ll have to give it a try. I’m still stuck in the film world, should go to digital. I like black & white photos, though. Can you do those with digital?
thats terrible about the school messing up defintely dont need that stress for school. The view looks so pretty! i like both digital and print so either one for me lol.
Yay for your classes boo for them messing up Squirts. My son loves to golf and hubby isn’t great at it but they go out anyway. Andrew wants to golf in Hawaii next year when we go. He is very excited about it. I am very proud of you for not cussing too much. LOL Have a good day.
Congrats on getting your classes! Hope you enjoy them.
Thanks for sharing that beautiful scenery. I don’t play golf, but I can enjoy the view!
Still print, but just invested in a digital and haven’t learned to use it yet…I like to study over the manual and figure out how to get my best use instead of just jumping in and getting started. I’m afraid I will miss an important shot, but I know I need to let go of the print and move forward………
I don’t even like golf but I think I’d play a round just to drive that awesome cart.
P.S. Thanks for the great comment.
Hey, thanks for stopping by my site today. I’m definitely digital & I’m even going to try some new digital scapbooking software soon. In my spare time, yeah.
I don’t golf, but I do like that 19th hole! And driving the cart. Not in that order! LOL!
Schools are so irritating. RYC: thanks, yeah someone pointed out after you that some day I will be then fun grandma so there is hope.
GPS and digital scoring in golf carts?!?! wow … that’s some high tech stuff! And those are some beautiful views!
After a busy month of surviving PhD exams, i’m finally getting around to commenting back on comments from the first Featured Grownups topic post of the month. Thanks for visiting and for your comment!
