Wake me when it’s over!
People to People meeting today. I think Silver_Fangz is getting excited. What’s not to be excited about?? Traveling to Europe, visiting Great Britain, Scotland, Whales and Ireland. Hmmm… 14 and loose (ok, supervised, but still) in Europe. That’s exciting stuff.
Unfortunately, her delegation leader is not what you would call and interesting and innovative teacher. He’s more the stereotypical Ferris Bueller History teacher… you know, monotone, repetitive and totally mundane. “Bueller,…… Bueller…… Bueller…..Yeah… I left half way through the meeting… it was either that or slide into a slow leisurely comma. Too bad the kids had to stay, I’m sure they would rather be getting a root canal….. or something.
NCIS was a heart wrencher!! I can’t believe Gibbs is leaving….. I just won’t believe it. I’m tired of these hit shows feeling like they need to shock their viewers by killing off someone or having main characters leave. Why can’t we just go with the hit show, why do we need to continue change things???
I HATE change!
I know, for a military wife that’s not a good attitude, but there you go….I’m not a good military wife. I don’t play well with others, I hate rules and regulations and I don’t do politics….. It’s amazing that I haven’t caused my hubby any real grief in the last 20 years…..ok, well any real grief with the Air Force. I’m managed plenty of mischief in our home…. muahhaahhaaaa!!!
What about you??? Rule follower or free loving and flexible considering rules more of “guidelines”?

I make up rules for everyone else to follow…
Basically, if it isn’t MY idea then it isn’t worth doing.
But you already knew that.
I can’t believe it either. I like Tony but Gibbs is what makes the show. He will be back RIGHT? I have to watch CSI tomorrow. I watch Vegas too and they shot James Caan’s character too. Geez. I agree with you. Why do they think they have to do that.
I like to follow the rules to a point but like to make some up as I go along too. Keeps life interesting. I think your daughter will have a great time.
Have a good one.
I’m not much for change either & I used to work for the state. CHANGE everyday. I’m more of a rule follower, like things to be done right & the peace keeper. Although, when it comes to the kids at home, I’m the rule maker…muuahhhh!!!!
I’m a little of each. I will follow the rules that are actual written laws. But I don’t go much for “unwritten rules,” and many of the “social niceties” are actually big wastes of time, IMHO.
I considered joining the military for a brief time. Then I realized that before I became a general, I’d have to do time as a lowly peon, and I decided that wasn’t my style. Being a mom is, ‘cuz I get to make the rules. :coolman:
I hate change too. I have way too many pennies.
Rule are more of a guideline. Some rules are just stupid.
That was funny into a leisure comma:lol:
