I decided I would start getting up earlier, to have some me time. Being a SAHM home schooling mom, I don’t get much alone time.
Yesterday I was waiting outside RE for Squirt, cleaning out the jeep and reading my assignment. The windows were open and there was a gentle breeze. I love those kind of nights. That’s when I miss my motorcycle most. You know the kind of night, when the lights look especially bright, and the air is sultry and soft against you skin. On those nights I feel like roads go on for ever. That magical things are just right around the corner, waiting for me to discover them. The kind of night that says if you had wings, you surely could fly.
I love those nights. I am so glad I was out last night to enjoy it. Even though I didn’t do anything but clean my jeep and read my assignment. I have it now with me, I hope it lasts.
What kind of night do you enjoy?

I did not know you home school. I do to, I home school my son. I like cool breezy night, just cool enough to still be out side with out a sweater. If I am inside I like windy nights. I love the sound of the wind.
I give you so much credit for home schooling!
I love to be with my hub, he’s always gone with the air force.. so when we are together.. it’s a cherished time..
just with him.. I don’t care where!
I love nights when it is crisp and the stars are shining. Indian summer kind of breeze and some warmth.
I used to love nights camping in Michigan. There would be a campfire and it would feel all cozy and warm. Just the right end to spending all day at the beach.
sounds like a nice quiet time for you.My husband loves to ride as well. Im more of ocean person i love to just go to the beach at night and hear the waves crashing that to me makes me feel peaceful.
The best nights for me are sitting out in the snow covererd ground with a piping hot cup of coffee and Sheba (see pic) at my side. A low glow on the camp fire and a sky full of stars.
Night out at my mom and dads deep in the country…that time of year wear it’s just right weather…spring peepers starting to slow down, bullfrogs starting to speak up, the occasional whipporwill, cicadas, stars as bright as bright can be-a million of ‘em…just sitting out there, listening and soaking…’k…ya made me homesick!
RYC: Thanks…you’re a sweetie too!!! And I did pop the Eagles back in…SO much better than Barney!!!!
