  • Ahhhh… another fun day.

Yesterday was mummy day.. in that, I pretended (quite convincingly I humbly admit) that I was a mummy, or comatose, or zombied….. you choose.

Today, we attended the final day of the Mercedes Open. It was a lot of fun. We followed the final four groups around, and hung out with our friends, acting like golfing efficindios and looking like golfing rednecks.

Everyone was in a good mood. The weather was nice… although quite windy, which kept it cool for us (when we weren’t huffing and puffing up the hills), but made it difficult for the golfers.

Appleby had a difficult day… started off 6 under I think… Singh had a great day.. started off 3 under and ended 8 under… Appleby tied it up on the 18th and forced a playoff, which he won when he birdie the 18th. Pretty exciting! If you’re into that stuff. Campbell was in the running until he went OB off the 12th and blew up from there. It wasn’t pretty, but he salvaged with a par on the 18th, to put a decent finish to his day.

Tomorrow first day new classes. I’m tired and sore (from walking the Plantation course which is quite spread out and has noooo flats……. and from doing stage work on sat. early morning) and just about ready for bed. Got get some sleep so my brain is at Masters best…. muwahahahaha………. yeah, right.

Fun, sun and NO kids. What more can you ask for???

  • Dang! you worked your tail off this weekend. I read all that and can’t stop yawning from all the physical activity you typed about. I was so lazy this morning I laid in bed an extra hour while the girls played in their rooms. Sleep, glorious sleep. I need more of it. :sleepy:

  • Wow what a busy weekend. I have never been to a golf tounament. Been to play golf, that was a joke. I could not even get off the first tee.

  • Okay, so you posted that painting because of the Mercedes Open…  *hehe*  My jaw was beginning to unhinge from my face and I was going to accuse you of painting that!  Anyway *cough* yes, glad you had fun at the golf course!

  • My son so wants to play golf in Hawaii.  We are trying to plan a trip to Hawaii as we have never been and so neither has our son.  We have a time share at Hilton but only have 3 choices in Hawaii right now.
