Whew….
Un-decorating is almost as much work as decorating! The tree is stripped, the mantle returned to normal, and the majority of the decorations gone from the living room. I’m still not done….doing it the flylady way… a little at a time.
I still have the dining room and kitchen, and of course the outside lights… but then we’re finito for another year! Hooray!
Trying to take it easy, especially since I’m still recovering — yeck….
The whole house smells like Lysol….. I’m still in the process of disinfecting. I boiled all the toothbrushes today. Course I had to straighten the handles back out afterwards….
. I will replace them once we all get well. I’m also working on washing all the towels, pillow cases and bedding.
I’m serious……….. germs will die in my house this week! It’s a mass germicide!!!! No mercy will be given, no quarter granted……. DEATH to the germs.
It’s a war — and I mean to win!!! I have Lysol, Clorox and a washing machine as my weapons for the house and orange juice, vitamins and chicken soup for the people…………….. We are ready for battle!!!!!

Are you sure the power is off? (I have used these words with my husband…. fortunately, he lives…..)
That’s odd. (never something you want to hear, especially if someone is working on electrical, or mechanical stuff.)

I was over at my folks’ place last night to watch the USC/Texas game and they still have their tree up. I think you’ll be a good week ahead of my mom. *hehe*

Hahahaha…I used the Chocolate factory one as my tagline on my site! That’s just too funny! DEATH TO GERMS!!! We undecorated New Years Day…’cept for outside…those are still up, ’cause they wait on my hubbie to do…so I’m still lighting them up! They’re just so pretty, and they’re up, so why not? Right? :goodjob:
I need to do that to my house too. Then open all the windows and let the fresh air in. I hate these germs and I refuse to let them win any longer. I agree too that it is just as much work to undecorate as it is to decorate. Kind of like vacation. You need one after having one cause they are so much work. It’s just wrong
I like the FlyLady she has inspired me a lot. I just watched Charlie and The Chocolot Factory today.
