What to hear about divine intervention?
Yesterday we were planning to go to the beach when oldest dd got home from school. We go to a beach on the south side called Keawakapu. The girls decided they weren’t interested in going .. they wanted to go today.
So last night we’re watching the news and whoa… what’s this?? A tiger shark sighting and attack. Some poor tourist lost 3 fingers…. where at?? Keawakapu! They sighted that one and another and chased them out to deeper waters. The one that attacked…. 12 ft long!!
So needless to say.. we aren’t going to the beach today either!
Hubby says “it’s their ocean”
I replied — “no doubt, and they are welcome to have it. I will stay home for a few days and give them all the space and time they want!”
I have to admit though… the tourist was swimming 400 yds from shore in murky water….. not the brightest crayon in the box. Can’t really blame the shark… can you?
Anyways.. I’m land locked for a few days for sure. The thought of sharing the ocean with a few sharks doesn’t bother me, but swimming in water that I KNOW to have sharks… ummmm no thanks. He’ll move on soon, probably already has gone.
Maybe we’ll hit the beach on Christmas Eve. That would be kinda cool!
Gotta go, Silver_Fangz has her interview with people to people in about 45 minutes…. Wish us luck!

Whoa that is scary. I think you did have some intervention there. Glad you were the lunch for that big guy. I agree though that it is their home and duh for swimming in murky waters. That sounds like a movie. Good luck with the interview. Have a great day.
Thanks for stopping by
I’m glad you guys didn’t go yesterday and I think I’d stay away for a while too
RYC, we’re in S. Texas, it’s cool in the winter, but very rarely cold. Probably not as nice as where you are
though!
Take care.
Was browsing through some blogrings and here I am. I just can not imagine going to the beach on Christmas, let alone being in the water!
Happy holidays.
The only time I was by the beach on Christmas was when we were in Hawaii.
I am glad you did not go either, God is good.
RYC: Thank you for stopping by. You are right, things will work out. It is the in-between that can suck. I have a supportive hubby, so I am luck and we are working on things together.
Ah, enjoy some sun and warmth for me.:sunny:

Good thing you stayed away from the beach, the day you were going to go was a wednesday! Wednesday’s you are all supposed to sit calmly on your couch and hum. Not much harm in humming!
Wow, that was a near miss! God is definitely looking out for you all! In case I don’t get back here before, just wanted to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas!!!
