AARRRRGGHHHHH………………..
It has BEGUN!!!!
I am just about to have a nervous breakdown and I decide to start on my Master’s degree???? WHAT was I THINKING????
I honestly thought I might have a panic attack earlier. I was finally able to log on to my online classes and contrary to what I had been told… I need textbooks!! 5 different ones. With homework based on the readings due next Monday!!! What a great way to start my program……….<laughing maniacally>
So I spent most the day tracking down my textbooks and getting them shipped. Funny thing about that… I ended up going through the University bookstore on Oahu. I asked them to expedite shipping and was told it would cost more. I agreed to pay then they tell me… UPS won’t pick up till the day after tomorrow and ships next day. Well………… priority will take 3-5 days at half the cost. Let’s think this one through……. HMMMMM!!!! Pay twice the amount and receive same day as priority, or ship priority and receive it same day as UPS. Let me think.
oh yeah…. I is a college student.
This weekend should be fun as all the assignments will be due on Monday. Hurrah!
Must be something in the air, I think. Hubby had his two big wig bosses picking at each other and throwing temper tantrums (well the adult version) in the staff meeting this morning. One of them I would never have believed it.
First — she’s a woman (that’s really enough said, but I’ll go on anyway) Second — she’s very calm, cool, reserved, thoughtful, and well spoken. Third — she’s a woman (we usually are more subtle).
Looks like they are trying to do away with the enlisted billets here, so we may be leaving earlier than we thought. They are still fighting to keep them though. We’ll see. Hope it’s not too soon. Summer is soon enough for me. Have people coming to visit this winter to see the whales and I would be devastated if my folks never made it to Hawaii to visit. They deserve it.
Well here’s to world that has gone sideways………..

Goodness. Whatever I end up doing this weekend I can now rest assured it will be a whole lot easier and more fun than what you are doing. Sorry! The thought of homework makes my head hurt. I hope your books make it to you fast. Dumb UPS though. Why do we have UPS anyway?? Oh, D ordered me a kick ass phone from the internet. I can’t wait to get it. It’s got every bell and whistle imaginable. I won’t be able to operate it but it will look darn pretty!!

Thanks for visiting me, your timing was perfect…You brought me a smile during my darkest hour!!! I’m glad to hear that you also enjoyed being in the band..Where you in a marching band, like me? It was fun, one year we went to Florida for a competition and came home with 12 trophies!! Not to mention Disney land, and the stop we made at Menphis, to see Elvis’s home!…We flew home, to Texas, and that was my first time to fly!, and it was GREAT!!!
Thanks again for the smile, I really needed it at that time…No, I never did get my classical programmed in, I’ll work on it today! I really want the hard rock off my Xanga, I just wasn’t in the mood to learn how to program in a bunch of codes….Maybe today….I would love to hear Music Box Dancer when I read my Xanga!!!….How silly am I? lol
