  • Super stuff!

Your power is the ability to learn anything by only seeing it once!  Imagine being able to glance at an instruction manual  or the television for only a moment and then being able to take apart and reassemble a car engine!  Just think of the possibilities!

OK, so the Kween has had some awesome challenges lately, and I’ve been unable to give them time I wanted to, but I was determined to do the next one. So I went to Kween’s place to check out the latest decree and was a little disappointed when I read what my super power was to be – I mean telekinesis and transmutation – those are AWESOME powers. Then I thought some more about it, and hey, it might not be so bad right? So here goes—

I don’t have a super name. It’s just regular old me. The reason I don’t have a super name, is that nobody knows about my power, and I prefer to keep that way. Not that I don’t use my power to help, I do, but I do it anonymously, like a regular old good Samaritan. Of course the first thing I learned intentionally was how to speed read, and that really has paid off.  After glancing through some medical manuals I help those who need medical assistance.  I help prevent crime after a few Kung Fu movies and I help all my family and friends out with financial planning, investments and even tax preparations after breezing through some financial books. I also do a lot of technical work for them thanks to some online tech videos, and have completely jazzed up there houses after a few hours of HGTV.

As a result of my advanced knowledge in finances, I’ve managed to increase my net worth. I donate large amounts of money to charity, and have spent time in 3rd world countries helping out in various capacities, all I need is a video or manual and I’m good to go. When I’m not doing that, I often vacation with my family and friends – paid for by our sound financial decisions. One of the boons of my wealthy status is a private jet I bought. I learned to fly it overnight, and now we fly wherever we want, whenever we want. This has really opened up the world for us, and thanks to foreign films, I now speak over 10 different languages.

When I get bored I make jewelry, pottery, or paint. It’s amazing how liberating it is to not have the lack of knowledge preventing you from doing something you’ve always wanted to do or try. In the end though, I just enjoy learning new things, and I use that knowledge to better the lives of my family, friends and everyone else I can. After all, what good is a super power if it’s not shared with the world? Then it’s not super, it’s just power, and who wants that?

Transport yourself over to the Kween’s site and read other SUPER entries!

  • I think that would be pretty cool!  Actually, I always thought it wouldbe neat just to be able to speed read, but then I really thought about it;  I never want really good books to end, so that could be a liability.

  • MiLady,

Oh most enjoyable and reading it put me in the frame of mind that of all the abilities listed, this one would actually be of the most value!  You’ve touched upon all of the ideas that I had swimming through my mind!  Good read!  Thanks so much for participating!  It is appreciated!  You’ve been linked and starred~Kween:wink-wink:

  • This is a very postive and fresh look at the superpower.  Well done.  I really liked reading your entry.

  • Very interesting. :frog:

Hope you are having a great weekend.

  • Great uses for your power… But you would kind of become the know all and be all of everything. People would definitely get suspicious . Good post. peace

  • It is super if you share…which means we all have super powers…we just need to begin to share them.

  • That sounds like a good and very busy life.  Can you learn how to open bank vaults too without getting caught?  Or, just learn how to see into the future and pick the winning powerball numbers for me, okay?

  • This was my power as well. It would be awesome to not have barriers for what you could do!

  • It’s a cool power.  I like what you said about sharing it with the world.

  • you desided to be a secretive helper and pass it on to other people. kind of like pay it forward. you have knowledge and give it to someone else and they have it and pass it to someone else as well.
