Well — that’s it. For better or worse, I’m done. I submitted my final assignment this evening (about 10 minutes late —
) and I’m finished. Hopefully for good. The one class that I told you about the crappy teacher, I have NO IDEA what I’m getting in there. Right now I’m carrying a 4.0 — so if he screws that up you can bet I’ll be ticked.
This weekend we went to Lani — It was hectic and busy and way too short and one of the causes of my assignment being late — but I’m so glad we went. Ducky’s new boyfriend came with us. I really like this kid. SO MUCH better than 19 yo — who is proving how much of an immature jerk he is these days — . New boyfriend, Peter is great — friendly, outgoing, motivated, and only 16!! WOOT!! He fits right in around here. And to top it off he has family in the same small town in NM where my folks live and we plan to eventually retire for good. Small world huh? He also likes to get out and do things, not just spend all day playing video games!
Tomorrow I’ll post pictures from both Lanai and Kauai. Not tonight. I’m beat. Today I’ve: Snorkeled for over an hour, hiked for an hour, did tons of walking on the beach, swam in the pool, lugged luggage around and then did 3 hours of work on my final project. I’m tired both physically and mentally tonight so it’s off to beddy bye for me.

Here are pictures from Lanai, unfortunately I can’t find my camera cord for MY camera — so no pictures from Kauai right now. I’ll hopefully have those up tomoroww, (as soon as I clean up around here and find that studpid cable!)

Your pictures are just beautiful and make me wish I was there. Was there a particular reason for going to Kauai and Lani or just a weekend get away? (I am so behind on reading my subs-so sorry!) It must be nice to have such a beautiful area to explore and how great that you get to do all this before your hubbby retires and yo umove.
I’m glad to hear you like the new boyfriend. Sounds like there’s probably a lot more peace in your hosue as a result.

Congratulations on finishing your classes! I would congratulate you on the completion of education in general but I know you absorb all knowledge withing a 3 mile radius of wherever you may be standing. So formal classes are over and now you will just have to hunt for new information to feed your crack like habit!

lol! A little off subject, but oh well. I read your comment and wanted to warn you to not be too impressed with my pages of scrapbooking I got done. Last weekend I did 2 pages and this weekend, I only got one done. Time is so hard to come by for me.
If you have a place to do school, that’s really all you need. We tried the kitchen table for years and had problems with school books and projects being spread throughout the whole house. For me, it works having all our school stuff in one room. It sounds like you already have that.
