Updates on ….well everything.
As you can see I took down the background pic. Working on tweaking it, until I do, it was driving me NUTS! So…bye bye picture.
Now onto the important stuff:
Kitten update:
Kitty is doing fine, growing, crawling and eating. Taking him/her into the vet today for a check-up. A little worried about his eyes, they are not the blue they are supposed to be, they look all black. They were blue the first day, but since then they just look black. We’ll see what the vet says.
No name yet, waiting to find the gender.
Hair update:
Eldest dd’s hair is a mauve color. Boyfriend hates it, but oh well.
Youngest dd decided she wanted blue streaks, but they didn’t turn out like planned, so she’s washing her hair like crazy and we plan to redo them, this time using a highlighting kit first and then using the cap to put in the streaks.
Obviously, I choose a pic that showed both the little fuzz ball, and Silver_Fangz pink hair (mauve, burgundany — what eveah).
School update:
Squirt is doing well in all her classes, although she is still terribly behind in math (grrrr…..). I am waiting for my financial aid to go through and then waiting anxiously (or not) for classes to start next week. I haven’t been able to go work out, due to having to babysit the kitten 24/7. Thankfully that will be over in a week (or two, or three — <sigh>).
Went to a great program at a local church. It was called An Evening of Miracles. They put on a women’s conference last year that was fabuluous. Last night was inspiring as well. One of the biggest things I took away from last night was that “Jesus knows where you are”. So true…always.
Hubby was out at a track day all day yesterday so it was just us girls. We went shopping on Saturday and then hubby and I went out for a little “us” time. Ate at a great italian resturant in Kihei — soooo good! YUM. Then we came home and went to bed! How pathetic! The kitty has wiped us out. Getting up every few hours. I honestly don’t know how women in their forties have babies…I guess I’m just a wimp but I need my sleep!
Ok, done rambling. You guys have a great day!
Question of the day:
Natural or dyed??

I like the mauve hair, cool, boyfriend can get over it.
Fur ball makes me want another one but the two at home would have a fit if I bring in a kitten. People abandon cats at our campus and we have others here who rescue and raise the kittens and find homes. The vet school captures the others and fixes them and then releases them here. We have some beauties strolling around campus like they own the place…guess they do!
Natural.
OMG my SIL is having another baby and she is 41. Will be 42 right after the baby is born. My brother will be 46. They have a son that will be 4 a couple weeks after the baby is born. NO THANK YOU. I am perfectly content with the fact my son can dress, feed, bath, laundry etc all by himself. LOL Yay for us time. I don’t get any for a week or so.
I like her hair and that kitten is so tiny. Gosh I hope it’s eyes are ok.
Answer: Natural blonde, but keep it colored blonde because otherwise it would look like dirty dishwater. . . besides, years and years ago my MOM (yes, surprise) told me I should keep it colored! Imagine that!
RYC: Oh I think that would be a wonderful thing for you to do! But only if your sister would be willing. I don’t want to bully anyone into doing anything they don’t want to do. Just ask her, if she says yes great, if not, that’s fine to. . .no love lost! Thank you so much for bringing it up!~K.K.
I’m a librarian part time, own my own bookkeeping business and also manage a deli/gas station…. when tax season rolls around I’ll be taking leave from the library (hopefully) and working at that.
i like the new hair color it really looks good on her. Sounds like you guys had a nice time going out.I dye my hair blonde in the summer and back to brown in the winter.the kitty looks adorable!
For me… dyed! Early grey here, If I didn’t color… 80% white, and I’m only 47!
That little furball is so sweet! And the mauve hair… looks cute. Love her cute cut!
The kittie is cute and I like the hair color.
I like the mauve hair, but I keep mine natural. There is something about wandering around with my five-year-old, sporting my bright silver streak that totally amuses me! I keep telling the eight-year-old (my wild child) that she is the cause of my gray hair, but she doesn’t buy it. Oh well.
Have a nice night, if Kitty lets you sleep!
Kitty is so cute
I hope it’s ok. I like your daughter hair color.
RYC: the trailer not sold yet a friend is in RV Repair and he sells trailer, he is going to help us sell ours. We have to get it off the site or else we have to paid three hunderd for the winter
NOT. Matt will have it at their place which is three miles down the road from the campground. I hope we can get it sold soon.
